2018 SeoulTech KPOP Contest

The Korean Language Course at Seoul Tech will be holding the 2018 SeoulTech KPOP Contest for international students at SeoulTech,

as an opportunity to better understand and enjoy Korean language and culture. We encourage your eager participation.

- May 11, 2018 (13:00-16:00)

▪Theme

- Any form of vocal Korean music (traditional folk songs, opera, pansori etc. are all possible)

※ Dancing will be given extra points. However, the primary focus will be on the song itself

▪Contents

- Song: Must be a vocal Korean song

- Duration: 5 minutes per team

- If you enter as a team, all team members must contribute to the song equally

(if there is any team member who does not participate, your team will be disqualified)

▪Subject

- Korean language students, exchange students, international students at SeoulTech

- You may enter with your Buddy or Mentor

▪Judges

- Dean of the Office of International Education, Korean language instructor, vocal instructor

- Will be judging Korean language abilities(40), musicality(30), teamwork/audience response(30), to a total of 100 points

- 6 teams will be awarded
